The Architect

Feature Documentary ǀ 30-60 min ǀ being planned

The International Congress Centre Berlin is one of the most controversial buildings in West Berlin. It was planned by architect Ursulina Schüler-Witte together with her husband Ralf Schüler. He was the inspired engineer, while she, a pragmatic architect, paved the way for her husband to realize his visions. Today it is uncertain whether this landmark building will be preserved. In March 2014 it was closed, perhaps forever. The film accompanies Ursulina Schüler-Witte, now in her eighties, in her fight for the preservation of her most important work.
